Tennimax is an Indian tennis ball and accessories brand, forged through years of research, rubber science, and an uncompromising commitment to quality.
Our Story
The idea for Tennimax was born in 2021, when founder Ravi Mandalia began exploring why India — a country with immense manufacturing capability — had no homegrown premium tennis ball brand. He spent months evaluating products from over 30 companies across the world, testing them for quality, consistency, and value.
Convinced that the "Make in India" route was the right path, Ravi commissioned market research, then dove deep into the science behind tennis ball manufacturing — studying rubber chemistry, rubber compounds, and the technical standards that govern the sport globally.
In late 2023, Tennimax signed an MoU with the Technical Consultancy Division of the Rubber Research Institute of India (RRII), Rubber Board of India. Working hand-in-hand with the RRII team, Ravi developed prototypes of Red, Orange, and Green stage tennis balls within 18 months.
Tennimax Private Limited was formally established in December 2024. Today, a full-scale manufacturing plant is under development in Ahmedabad, Gujarat — with beta production of tennis balls planned for mid-2026.
